Karen Burpo is upset over the condition of the eastbound side of Northridge at GA. 400.
“After some recent road repaving, now there are big globs of tar or some paving material, like a machine was parked there and dripping. The globs are about dinner plate size and lots of them at each intersection in the lane that will go across 400 and then turn left onto the 400 ramp,” she wrote.
Burpo said it makes for a very bumpy ride and she’s concerned that if someone had to brake suddenly, they would skid right over the pavement and out into the intersection, because it is so bumpy. It’s been there a couple of weeks.

Joe Hammell said there has been a steel plate on the far right-hand side of the southbound lanes at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Brookhaven Drive NE for more than six months.
“When will the steel plate be removed ?” he wondered.
We started investigating and learned from Brookhaven officials the issue would have to be addressed by the DOT because it is a drainage pipe issue and Peachtree Road is a state issue.
