Irene Sauls wants something fixed on the southside of the city.

“Campbellton-Fairburn Highway and Ga. Highway 92 need repaving very, very badly. It also needs to be four lanes to the red light where it goes to Douglasville. I have to drive on the yellow line on my left, or the white line on my right to keep from damaging my car,” Sauls wrote.

She said she is tired of hearing about all that gets done by the DOT onGa. 400 and tired of nothing being done on the South Fulton side of Atlanta. Sauls said she sees many projects getting completed on the northside of town, but nothing on the southside.

“We pay taxes, too!! We have a lot of tractor-trailer truck traffic with many warehouses being built in this area, and we will have much more. The state DOT needs to get this done for this area ASAP. Please get us some help,” she wrote.

We sent the issue to the DOT and will keep you updated.

Tim Brotherton wants something done about a street lined with potholes.

“This is Debelle Street in Clarkston, on my bike route to work. Several of the huge potholes are eight to nine inches deep. They are dangerous for cars and lethal for bikes. They have been getting worse for years, and now people have to detour through an adjacent apartment complex. I reported it to the city last year, and they dumped a load of gravel on it, which helped for about a week, then made it worse,” Brotherton wrote.

We sent the issue to Clarkston officials and will let you know when it is fixed.
