Bishop Jim Swilley, pastor of Church In The Now in Conyers, will be the featured speaker during the "Word of Mouth" series at Theatrical Outfit.
Swilley will speak in conjunction with the group's current stage production, "The Young Man from Atlanta," which explores issues such as suicide, sexual orientation and gender identity. He will speak at noon on Tuesday.
Swilley will address his recent decision to publicly announce that he is gay. Swillewas moved in response to the number of teen suicides by young people struggling with their sexuality and bullying.
