Sweetwater tennis pro wins state award

Eddie Gomez, head pro at Cobb’s Sweetwater Tennis Center, was named Tennis Professional of the year by the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. Gomez was recognized for his efforts to promote and grow tennis in the community, and for his humanitarian efforts in Masaya, Nicaragua for 14 years.
