Sweet Apple Road in Milton closing to install gas main

Sweet Apple Road in Milton will be closed during the daytime hours from this week as an Atlanta Gas Light contractor installs a new gas main, the city said.

The closure will affect the entire length of the thoroughfare in Milton, from Arnold Mill Road (Ga. 140) to Ebenezer Road, a distance of about 0.5 miles. "The closure runs between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, meaning the road should be accessible at night," according to a city announcement.
