The Suwanee City Council took next steps this week toward creating a trail connection between Ruby Forest subdivision and George Pierce Park. The proposed trail will include construction within the park itself. As a result, Gwinnett County requires the city to enter into an intergovernmental agreement granting permission for this project. Suwanee’s city council action this week approved that agreement and states the project will include taking the existing 800-foot existing natural surface trail and replacing it with a concrete sidewalk.
The proposed project is being designed and put out to bid in conjunction with the Stonecypher Road sidewalk project.
