Suwanee seeks sculptures for spring exhibit

Suwanee’s Public Arts Commission has issued a request for proposals for outdoor sculptures to be featured in this spring’s SculpTour.

Depending upon funding, 10 to 20 sculptures will be exhibited in the downtown area beginning in May.

Artists may submit up to three sculptures for consideration. Selected artists will receive a stipend of up to $1,000 and be eligible to win more in cash awards. Deadline for submissions is March 1.

Artwork selected will be on loan to the city throughout the SculpTour, a program funded by private donations to spur economic development. For more information, go to www.suwanee.com.
