Suwanee has plans to continue a commitment to bring innovative art to the community. The city’s Public Arts Commission was set to expire at the end of this year. In a unanimous vote Tuesday, the Suwanee City Council and staff have revised the enabling ordinance for the Commission to exist indefinitely.

In addition, the city council approved a $50,000 contract with Todd Bressi/Via Partnership for completion of a public art master plan. The city received seven proposals from professional firms to complete master plan before negotiating the contract.
