Suwanee plans open house to discuss comprehensive plan update

Suwanee is updating the city’s Comprehensive Plan. The 2040 Plan will be a revision to the Suwanee 2030 Comprehensive Plan, which was completed in 2008. The Comprehensive Plan is a citywide blueprint and an important tool for guiding future decisions about where and how to manage population growth and development within the city.

Suwanee officials will hold a drop-in open house 4 to 7:30 p.m. July 20 at City Hall, 330 Town Center Avenue to allow the public to share their thoughts about the future of Suwanee as the city plans for the next 20 years. A third open-house review of the plan is planned for Sept. 28.
