The Southeast Festivals and Events Association (SFEA) recently recognized Suwanee’s events with several Kaleidoscope Awards. Festivals and events from five states are recognized for originality, creativity, media impact, volunteer programs, and the overall impact to the community.

Suwanee received Gold Awards for the Gwinnett’s Bicentennial Celebration at Suwanee Fest as a Best Event Within an Event, and Tiger Tails Animal Hospital at Suwanee Fest for Best Sponsor.

Silver Award recognition included the Summer Porch Jam for Best New Event, the Summer Porch Jam Fan for Best Creative Idea, Suwanee Fest for Best Photograph and Best Event Program.

The city received a Bronze Award for the Summer Porch Jam as Best Promotional Poster.

“Our event team spends hours upon hours behind the scenes planning memory-making events for our citizens,” said Amy Doherty, events and outreach manager for Suwanee. “It’s nice to be recognized as being among the best in the Southeast for producing some amazing events that make Suwanee a great place to live and play.”
