The Suwanee City Council recently approved the Public Arts Commission’s recommendation to enter into a contract with Columns Fundraising to provide consulting services related to a public art capital campaign.

Earlier this year, Columns Fundraising provided the city with a report and recommendation for the Public Art Feasibility Study. The methodology of the project included an 11-person steering committee, promotional material, and 30 conducted interviews with questions that incorporated credibility, fundraising appropriateness, and willingness to contribute. The results found there is strong support for fundraising between $1 million to $1.25 million for public art funding.
