Suwanee to celebrate '60s and "Hairspray" at event

Suwanee's Toast @ Town Center will adopt a '60s theme on Thursday in honor of the Suwanee Performing Arts' production of "Hairspray."

The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the city's Town Center.

Dress rehearsal for "Hairspray" and original mini-musical "Rapunzel's Twist" will be held the night of Toast @ Town Center. The shows will be officially staged next Friday and Saturday.

Also, Thursday is the final night that Suwanee's 20/20 Vision Open House will be open to area residents. People are invited to stop in at 3930 Charleston Market Street.
