Suwanee awards design contract for new sidewalks

The Suwanee City Council voted June 23 to proceed with a design contract for Smithtown Road sidewalks. The $248,400 contract for full design was awarded to Clark Patterson Lee of Suwanee. The architectural design firm has already completed some concept design and cost estimate work for the project.

Smithtown Road runs between Satellite Bouelvard and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road. The sidewalks will service several neighborhoods and connect pedestrian travel to and from Korean First Baptist Church, as well as Suwanee Elementary School.
