The Suwanee City Council approved a $279,00 contract with Valley Crest Landscape Tuesday to modify the landscaped medians on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and take over right-of-way maintenance.

The council also agreed to enter into an agreement with Georgia DOT to obtain right-of-way construction for the Buford Highway reconstruction project.

And in two more motions, the city awarded a $595,000 contract to Peach State Construction Company for construction of the Bushy Creek Greenway and to Allied Paving Contractors, Inc. for $828,000 to resurface several miles of city streets and parking at Sims Lake Park.
