Following a recent public hearing, the Suwanee City Council voted to approve a request for annexation and rezoning to allow for an assisted living facility at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Northolt Parkway. The annexation concerns 2.7 acres that are contiguous to the corporate limits of Suwanee. The county has had no objections to the annexation.
The project will include a 90-bed assisted living facility with some memory care units. Amenities will include social and recreational activities, meal service, housekeeping, shuttle/transportation services, assistance with daily activities and 24-hour emergency response.
