Suwanee is scheduled to hold a municipal election in November. Three council posts are up for election which are currently held by the following council members: Post 3 – Linnea Miller, Post 4 – Beth Hilscher, and Post 5 – Dan Foster. Municipal qualifying begins Monday, August 21. The qualifying fee is $270.
Voter registration is available at City Hall, 330 Town Center Avenue in Suwanee, public library branches, and the Gwinnett County Elections Office at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200 in Lawrenceville. The voter registration form is also available at the Georgia Secretary of State’s website: www.sos.ga.gov. You may verify your voter registration at the My Voter Page: www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do.
