Investigators were on the scene of a suspicious bag Wednesday evening at a Gwinnett County bank, but nothing dangerous was found.

Someone inside the Wells Fargo branch in the 5500 block of Peachtree Parkway noticed the bag, which has an unknown substance inside, and called 911, according to Lt. Eric Eberly with the Gwinnett County fire department.

Firefighters and police officers were on the scene.

Although there was no indication of an explosive device, the county's bomb squad was called in to assist with the investigation, Cpl. Jake Smith with Gwinnett police said.

A robot took X-rays of the bag and found nothing hazardous inside, Channel 2 Action News reported.
