Two suspects were arrested Friday in the slaying of a woman delivering a pizza in Cedartown.

The suspects, 18-year-old Cadedra L. Cook and a 15-year-old juvenile, were arrested after a short foot chase, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Cedartown Assistant Police Chief James Newsome told Channel 2 that two officers were conducting a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Thursday when they heard a woman screaming at a location down the street. When they arrived at the scene, they found a woman with multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma to her face and body.

She was transported to Polk Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, Newsome said.

Investigators determined the victim, identified as 27-year-old Elizabeth Rae Hucheson, was a delivery person for Domino's Pizza.

Police believe the two suspects phoned in an order for a pizza and then ambushed Hucheson when she arrived at the home on Thompson Street.

According to Polk County Jail records,  Cook was arrested March 19 on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and interference with custody.

Cedartown is west of Atlanta in Polk County.
