Two suspects allegedly robbed a man who recently tried to valet his car at a downtown Atlanta hotel.

Security video appears to show two men getting out of a Lexus at the Sheraton Atlanta hotel at 165 Courtland Ave. and assaulting another man in front of, and inside of, the hotel.

Police say the victim's Rolex watch and necklace, valued at $8,000, were taken during the armed attack that happened around 3:15 a.m. Sept. 28.

The Texas man was left with a laceration on top of his head and on the side of his face, according to a incident report.

The 48-year-old victim said hotel security was nowhere to be found during the attack, according to Channel 2 Action News.

“No one reacted like I was being robbed,” he said to the television station.

The hotel’s general manager told Channel 2 that the safety of their guests is taken very seriously and security is on hand 24 hours a day.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest.
