The “office creeper” suspect being sought by Henry County police after allegedly posing as a carpet cleaner to gain access to the Henry County Transit offices last week has been arrested in North Carolina.
Henry authorities earlier this week identified their suspect in the theft of wallets from transit office workers as 54-year-old Antonio Hornsby.
Hornsby, who was charged in Henry County with financial transaction card theft, theft by taking and burglary and is also wanted by Athens-Clarke County Police, was booked into the Mecklenburg County, N.C., jail Wednesday afternoon, according to online jail records.
He was being held Thursday on a fugitive warrant, awaiting extradition back to Georgia.
