A man charged with aggravated assault was recently added to the Atlanta Police Department's top 10 "Most Wanted" list.

Anthony Smith, 25, allegedly stabbed a 30-year-old man during an apparent fist fight in downtown Atlanta last month. Two witnesses told police “they didn’t see a knife and it must have been small,” according to an incident report.

After the fight the victim told one witness “he was good, he was good,” but then “fell out” shortly after walking across the street, the July 6 report said. The incident took place on a weekday afternoon.

One witness ran over and tried to put pressure on the wound, while the other assisted. They told police that the victim and Smith, who was last seen running away from the scene in the 80 block of Peachtree Street SW, are a couple.

The victim was taken to Grady. Police did not have an update on his condition.

The motive is under investigation.
