As part of its application to renew its status as a bicycle-friendly community, Peachtree City is asking local cyclists to complete an online survey.

The city has previously been awarded with that distinction by the League of American Bicyclists. Ongoing repaving and other improvements to the city’s more than 100 miles of streets and multi-use paths, using special purpose local option sales tax funds, will continue into 2020. The 10-minute survey, available until Sept. 22 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/app_BFC_FA19, asks those who live, work or visit within Peachtree City to rate and comment on the area’s amenities “to better understand current bicycling conditions and potential areas for improvement.” Questions relate to safety, access, challenges, local policy and the availability of bike lanes.

A summary of the survey responses will be shared anonymously with the city.
