Get out your umbrellas and galoshes, forecasters are expecting it to rain all day Sunday.

There is a 100 percent chance of rain, said Laura Griffith, a meteorologist with the NWS, but temperatures will be above freezing.

“Rain is supposed to move into the metro area by 1 a.m. Sunday,” she said, “And last until 1 a.m. Monday morning.”

After the clouds clear out Monday morning, we will be “dry until Thursday,” where there is a 20 percent chance of rain Thursday, said Griffith.

Sunny but cooler weather is on tap for the first part of next week, with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s and lows around freezing. There is a possibility for warmer temperatures in the high 60s by mid-week.
