The Sugar Hill City Council on Monday set qualifying dates for the November elections as 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, to Wednesday, Sept. 2, at City Hall, 5039 West Broad St.

The election will be to decide City Council Post No. 1 currently held by Brandon Hembree, Post No. 2 held by Marc Cohen, and Post No. 3 held by Susie Gajewski. Candidates must pay a $108 qualifying fee at the time of qualification. Elections will be held Nov. 3 at the Sugar Hill Community office, 1166 Church Street. The last date to register to vote is Oct. 5.
