Sugar Hill is seeking current high school students to participate in the 2019-2020 Youth Council.

The youth civic engagement program will meet 5:30 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday. Applicants must also be willing to commit 15-20 hours a month. Students should be willing to engage Sugar Hill’s mayor and city council as well as their student bodies and attend city council meetings at 7:30 p,m. on the second Monday of each month. Applicants should also commit to joining at least one additional city-affiliated community group and attend various Sugar Hill events throughout the year.

Priority is given to residents who live within Sugar Hill city limits. Application: www.cityofsugarhill.com/youth-council/. Early applications are encouraged but must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Aug. 23.
