Sugar Hill will host a rain barrel workshop Tuesday as part of a way to teach residents how to minimize their water use.

The workshop is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Sugar Hill Community Center at 1166 Church Street.

Participation is limited to the first 25 residents who register for a spot. The cost is $40.

During the workshop, participants will learn to assemble their own rain barrel and will also receive their own 60-gallon barrel, hose spigot, overflow valve, down-spout attachment and filter screen.
