Sugar Hill has been conducting a comprehensive study of the Highway 20 corridor in an effort to understand the issues influencing the area’s future development. A working draft for the study has been released containing an executive summary of findings, a draft market analysis and full resolution images of the referenced framework plans.

The city’s leadership hopes to use this information to adopt land use policies that will promote favorable development patterns “contributing to a special visual experience”. The recommendations in this study call for well-designed, highly-connected neighborhoods and commercial nodes to provide a strategic variety of housing, shopping and services.
