Sugar Hill city leaders are ready to add their second gateway monument sign at West Broad Street and Highway 20 to signal the western entrance to downtown. Plans for the sign will very closely match the one at the east end of Broad Street (Alton Tucker at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard) but will include a few modifications to fit the slightly different conditions of the location.

The purpose of gateway signage is to help develop and promote branding of a city and help travelers identify a major entrance to the community.
