The Sugar Hill City Council approved design plans for an auto body repair and painting facility on Old Cumming Road. Ten conditions were placed on the rezoning application made by Doug Duffee. Among these, restrictions will limit the use to auto body repair and painting only, with any additional uses requiring rezoning approval.

In addition, Duffee agreed to changes to answer concerns expressed by neighbors including a three-foot high landscape berm with a triple row of evergreen trees, as well as a safety fence around the detention pond.

Further conditions require any specimen trees within 75 inches of the property line will be located with a tree protection plan prior to receiving a land disturbance permit.
