The Sugar Hill City Council reviewed tentative plans for a new downtown development at its May 11 meeting. The Downtown Development Authority outlined plans for a mixed-use project on Temple Drive being called ‘The Seven.’
The 24,000 square foot plan would include approximately 2,200 square feet for residential housing. Ninety percent of the housing would be designed as one-and two-bedroom units targeting young professionals and empty nesters. More details are due to come before the city council votes on a final plan. The project is slated for completion in 2016.
