Sugar Hill will hold an open house to update the community on plans for the 22-acre city park 6 to 7:30 pm today at City Hall, 5039 West Broad St. Representatives from Falcon Design and city staff will present the updates and hold a Q&A session immediately following the presentation.

In March, the city conducted a design charrette associated with the 22-acre parcel between the Arbor Clos neighborhood and Sugar Ridge Drive. The well-attended event resulted in a number of ideas and valuable input toward the development of a conceptual plan with widespread support. The future park will be designed with passive uses in mind and include several options to leisurely enjoy the outdoor park along Highway 20 while keeping the neighboring properties appropriately buffered from public use.
