Sugar Hill duck is new city mascot

George, the Sugar Hill Duck, is the city’s new “unofficial” city mascot. George, who appears in his Instagram profile photo to actually be a North American Snow Goose, lives in downtown Sugar Hill behind the Bowl and E Center. He’s a very friendly emissary for the city and loves visitors, especially when they bring him duck food from the city’s customer service department.

George chose Sugar Hill as his home a few years ago and the city is happy to have him as a downtown ambassador.
