Milton residents now have another thing to brag about.

According to a study done by Zippia.com – a website that bills itself as a "career expert" – Milton is the most successful city in the state of Georgia. Zippia's raking accounted for only cities with a population of more than 5,000 people.

So, what kind of data did the site use to get this result? It measured each city’s poverty level, median household income and unemployment rate.

Zippia used data from 2010 to 2014, and Milton was ranked with a 4.2 percent poverty level, a median household income of $110,891, and an unemployment rate of 4.4 percent.

Alpharetta was second on the list, Johns Creek was fifth, and Roswell was seventh. Sandy Springs was 19th out of 127 cities.
