Just weeks before school is scheduled to start, some students are learning they may not attend the school at which some began their high school career.

Fulton County Public Schools notified roughly 14 students at North Springs High School they were no longer allowed to attend the school, enforcing the district’s policy that no longer allows students from out the district to attend the magnet school, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The students’ parents had been paying tuition to attend the school.

Three of the students are rising seniors and will be allowed to finish their studies at the school, Channel 2 reported.

A Fulton County Public Schools spokesperson told Channel 2 the district is handling each student on a case-by-case basis.
