A man was wounded early Monday in a drive-by shooting shortly after he had gotten into an argument at a south DeKalb County strip club.

The 25-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, had gotten into a "verbal altercation" at Club Blaze on Moreland Avenue, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.

Investigators believe three men in a Cadillac followed the victim when he left the club about 3 a.m., and shot him as he drove along Moreland Avenue.

The victim continued driving a short distance before striking a pickup truck. He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, but is expected to survive his wounds, Parish said.

The driver of the pickup was arrested for driving without a license.

Police have made no arrests in the shooting.
