The Henry County Board of Commissioners recently approved the installation of two additional stop signs at the intersection of Moseley Drive and Reagan Road to create a three-way stop at that location.

The vote came despite a county staff report that said it was not warranted, with one accident there since 2012. Commissioner Blake Prince said that while he appreciates the staff’s work he believes this proactive move is necessary, as he has received numerous complaints about the site, which includes a difficult curve on one of the roads. Prince said marks on the pavement indicate several motorists have left the road to avoid accidents.
