Stone Mountain CID wins $500,000 for road projects

The Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority has awarded the Stone Mountain community improvement district $500,000 for road work in the district.

The grants will be used for projects on the Mountain Industrial Boulevard corridor, such as widening turn lanes on the main thoroughfare in the self-taxing district that is working to draw more jobs to the area.
