A Clayton County police car was stolen Friday, according to an article on wsbtv.com.

The marked car was taken at about 7 p.m. while a police officer was working a private job at Lakeside apartment complex on Riverdale Road in College Park, officials said.

Police believe the thief broke the driver's side window to get into the car. No weapons were in the car, police said.

The car was found less than a mile away from the apartment complex Saturday morning. The suspect is being sought.
