A project in Stockbridge is one of 16 listed in the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Tourism division’s announcement about grants to new and expanding tourism projects across the state.

The department has awarded a total of $116,744 in funding for communities that have participated in its Cycle I 2018 Tourism Product Development Resource Team program, according to deputy commissioner Kevin Langston, who said the recipients "reflect a variety of exciting and creative tourism projects that will attract and serve visitors throughout the state." Stockbridge's Green Front Cafe identification project was identified as a recipient along with others from all corners of Georgia.
