Stockbridge leaders plan to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday to discuss the community’s response to the coronavirus and public gathering restrictions.

The Henry County city will have a special called meeting at City Hall to discuss how to handle the impact of COVID-19, which has seen municipalities all over metro Atlanta struggle with how to address the virus.

Several metro Atlanta cities have instituted curfews, prohibited dining inside restaurants and closed bars, barbershops and other businesses that have been deemed “non-essential” to daily life. Others have focused on social distancing efforts, but have not gone as far as restricting business operations.

Stockbridge streams its meetings at its city website, cityofstockbridge.com.
