Stockbridge Mayor Tim Thompson plans to proclaim Monday as “Rudy Kelley Day” in the city in honor of its former longtime mayor. Kelley will be recognized at the regular council meeting with a proclamation from the mayor and council for his 31 years of service.
Following Thompson’s state of the city address and the council meeting, a reception will take place and a portrait of Kelley will be displayed in the lobby of the municipal building that already bears his name.
