For the second time in a year Stockbridge voters will choose a mayor. Judy Neal, who won the special election last fall to fill an unexpired term after Tim Thompson’s resignation, will run for a full four-year term this fall. Her opponents include Anthony Ford, who is finishing his term on the City Council and has served as mayor pro tem, and Tony Brown.

The two open council seats in the Nov. 7 election are Ford’s and incumben LaKeisha Gantt who is running for re-election. Other council candidates include David Le’Gall, Cherice Hollis and Alphonso Thomas. Council seats are at-large and the top two vote-getters will take office in January.
