The Stockbridge City Council voted at its March 9 regular meeting to increase the pay of each of its members as well as the mayor. According to the new pay scale, the mayor’s salary goes up from $10,800 to $14,400 per year.

The council members’ annual salaries will increase from $8,400 to $12,000. None of the increases take effect during the members’ current terms. Anthony Ford was the only council member voting against the change.
