The Stockbridge City Council voted unanimously at its Feb. 10 regular meeting to make new appointments to the city’s Youth Council Advisory Committee. Appointed to two-year terms were Pamela Warner, Rosalynd Rawls, Ericka Harvey, Joc’Quelyn Carter, Canton Jones, Bonita Adams and Jonathan Lee-Coley.

In two separate actions, the council voted unanimously to table the appointments of members to the city’s Planning Commission and Downtown Development Authority. Also approved were a request for use of the Merle Manders Conference Center for a Stockbridge High School JROTC event scheduled for March 20.

After that vote, ROTC Lt. Commander Gino Rice thanked the mayor and council for their commitment to community service.
