Union City’s Public Services Department is performing improvements of Shannon Parkway, including pipe replacement, curb installation, sidewalk installation, resurfacing and striping.

Council members said in September that they were looking forward to further development of the parkway and building a better Union City for the community. Started in mid-October, the project is projected to continue through April, weather permitting. Traffic flow will be allowed yet controlled through Shannon Parkway.
