Hank Aaron's heroic statue outside Turner Field kicked off a nasty little fight between the Braves and the Atlanta Fulton County Rec Authority over its ownership as the team gets ready to skedaddle.

The statue of Ty Cobb? Not so much.

In fact, it seems the hard-nosed Georgia Peach, among the first players inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame, has become a marked man due to history.

Everybody just knows he was a rotten guy — a racist, a misogynist, a dirty player. Right? Well, maybe that's worth another look.
