The State Board of Education will hold a public hearing for citizens in the 10th Congressional District 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 in Community Hall at Lake Oconee Academy, 1021 Titan Circle, Greensboro, according to a press release.

The 10th Congressional District includes the counties of Baldwin, Barrow, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, McDuffie, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro, Walton, Warren, Washington, and Wilkes along with parts of Butts, Clarke, Columbia, Gwinnett, Henry, and Newton counties.

The purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and educators regarding the performance and problems of public education. Persons wishing to speak should sign in upon arrival.
