Brookhaven’s popular “Food Truck Roundup” is back for another year.

Starting Wednesday evening, eight to 10 food trucks will make their way to Blackburn Park from 6 to 9 p.m. Running every Wednesday until Oct. 2, families can enjoy the wide food selection, a beer and wine tent and live entertainment.

Food trucks for the May 15 roundup include: South of Philly, Gyro Chef, Habanero Grill, Yumbii, On The Roll Maine Lobster, Sunshine Alchemy, Big C's Chicago Food, Six Pack Subs, Mercedes Benz Stadium Food Truck and Deep South Biscuit Co.

It’s the sixth season of the event series. This year, though, the location is moving to the north end of Blackburn Park on Ashford Dunwoody Road, near the Blackburn Pavilion, the city said in a statement.

More seating will be available this year, but attendees are able to bring their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Pets are also welcome. The new location is adjacent to a newly completed playground, so children can stay entertained.

“The Food Truck Roundup is a great way to spend a Wednesday evening at the park, but more importantly it helps foster a strong sense of community,” Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst said in a statement. “Brookhaven residents can come out to enjoy the parks, to socialize with friends and neighbors, and to meet new people.”
