Sprouts Farmers Market to open at Decatur Crossing in early 2017

Conscientious eaters in DeKalb County will likely be happy about this one: a Sprouts Farmers Market is opening near Decatur.

It will be a tenant of Decatur Crossing, Fuqua Development's mixed-use project under construction at North Decatur Road and Scott Boulevard. Other tenants listed on Fuqua's website include Zoe's Kitchen, Dunkin Donuts, Great Clips, Luxury Nails, Pacific Dental, SunTrust Bank, Verizon Wireless and Banfield Pet Hospital.

Sprouts will open 36 stores next year, bringing more than 100 career opportunities to local neighborhoods, the news release said.

The first batch of openings in 2017 will also include a second location in Marietta.
