Gwinnett Commissioners approved a jointly funded agreement with Rest Haven for upcoming 2014 SPLOST road improvements. The city will reimburse the county $30,658 or 85.16 percent for the Rest Haven Resurfacing Project.

The county will manage the project to resurface Thunder Road, from State Route 13/Buford Highway to the county line. Gwinnett will pay the remaining $5,342 for a total project cost not to exceed $36,000. The project will now be added to the county’s resurfacing schedule for 2015.
